Jets Suspended Ellis For Opener

"New York Jets defensive end Shaun Ellis has been suspended without pay for the team's regular-season opener and fined $100,000 by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The 31-year-old Ellis was arrested in November and charged with possession of marijuana, speeding and driving without insurance after being pulled over by police in Hanover, N.J., a few miles from the team's training facility in Florham Park (ESPN)."

This means that the jets will have to play without 2 of their starters on defense. Calvin Pace is suspended for the first 4 games for steroids, and now this moron is gone for driving stoned. It could be a really tough year for the Jets, as they get rookie QB Sanchez comfortable in the NFL, and players dropping like flies for stupidity....
