Bruins Resign Shawn Thornton
The Bruins have resigned Shawn Thornton to a two year deal worth 1.625MM. I am fine with this signing as he is a solid player and you need a tough guy on your team. Still, the Bruins have very little cap room and a lot of decisions to make. I don't think this signing will hurt their chances of bringing guys back, since it is such a low amount, but they are going to need to trade someone like Ryder/Thomas if they are going to make any moves this offseason.
