Mariners Looking To Deal Lee To Yankees

There are a couple reports going around today saying that the Mariners are quickly approaching sell mode, and one of the first guys to go will be Cliff Lee. The Mariners are already scouting the Yankees farm system, and it seems that the Yankees do have some pieces the Mariners would like to get their hands on.

The Yankees already have a rotation of C.C. Sabathia, A.J. Burnett, Andy Pettitte, Phil Hughes, and Javier Vazquez, and though it is not clear who would be bumped out my guess could be Vasquez (or Pettitte if he gets hurt). In return the Mariners want Triple A shortstop Eduardo Nunez and either Austin Romine or Jesus Montero (both catcher prospects).

I think Seattle could get more then that for a guy like Lee, but this scares the shit out of me, because if the Yankees land Lee that rotation is just too good.
