Bruins Could Be Without Savard To Start The Season

With the news that Marc Savard is still suffering from post concussion syndrome, there's a possibility he could miss the start of the season, and perhaps more. This really sucks for Savard, who was looking to bounce back after his concussion last season. I was really counting on him to play with Horton, and raise that guy's scoring total, but at least to start the season they are going to have to find another way.

The good news here is that the Bruins have a crazy amount of centers. David Krecji will take over as the No. 1 center, like he did last season. Tyler Seguin will now be moved back to center to start the year, while Savard is out. The hockey season is so long that it doesn't change my thinking that the Bruins are in line for a great season.
