Manny's Career Over?
When the White Sox traded for Manny I really thought he would bust out, much like he did when he joined the Dodgers. Chicago has received absolutely nothing from Ramirez, who is without an RBI in 41 at-bats since being claimed off waivers from the Dodgers. That is not going to help him this offseason when he once again looks for a new contract.
Teams have had to have taken notice that Manny is now not worth the trouble. He forced his way off the Sox, he forced his way off the Dodgers, and now he can't even get it going in the hitters friendly park in Chicago. On top of that add the whole steroids thing, and you got a guy who could very well be black listed, like Barry Bonds has been. I seriously question what he has left in the tank, and although I think he will be on a roster next year he is now only an AL option, and those options could be few.
