"Knicks president Donnie Walsh was so desperate last February to have the most cap room during the summer that he included their 2012 first round pick in the three-team trade with Houston and Sacramento that brought Tracy McGrady to New York. Walsh said Wednesday he regrets the decision, especially since Houston has included that pick in a proposed package for Carmelo Anthony.
"I'll second-guess myself forever on that," Walsh told the New York Daily News. "I've always wondered about that. I didn't like it when we did it (ESPN)."
The Knicks are such a joke. It really is just hilarious at this point. Carmelo wants to play for the Knicks, but they were stupid enough to trade away everything, so there is really no way the Nuggets will send him to the Big Apple. Most likely it will be the Nets that get him, and that could be really bad news for the Knicks, especially when they move to Brooklyn.
