"Former Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders plans to sign a one-year deal with the San Diego Chargers Thursday night, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter (ESPN)."
There was a time when I thought Bob Sanders was one of the biggest difference makers at the safety position in the NFL, but Sanders has played in only 9 regular season games for the Colts in the last 3 years. I don't know what he has left in the tank, or if he can stay on the field. It is a long shot, but for a one year deal I guess you can't argue with it too much. Maybe playing on real grass will help....but I doubt it.
