1-16 in shots that can tie or win them a game in under 10 seconds. 1-16. And when trailing by 3 points or less under 10 seconds Miami is 1-18.
The Miami Heat lost to the Bulls again last night making them 0-3 against them for the season and now in 3rd place in the East.
Here is the breakdown of missed shots in crunch time:
LeBron James 1-7
Dwyane Wade 0-5
Eddie House 0-2
Mario Chalmers 0-2
Chris Bosh 0-1
Mike Miller 0-1
That could just be bad luck, mental toughness, or what have you but the most concerning thing is, how they can't beat good teams. In the East alone they are 0-6 against the Celtics and Bulls and 1-8 against the top 5 teams in the league. How do they possibly believe they can put it together in time for the playoffs? I honestly believe that the Heat would be better off with just LeBron and Bosh or Wade and Bosh because LeBron and Wade can't play together. It's too players that need iso's to score. Both aren't spot up shooters, so they are a lost cause when on the floor together and not in transition.
In the 3 games the Celtics played against the Heat Dwayne Wade has looked awful and not in any type of rhythm. Once teams make it a half court game, the athleticism means nothing and the Heat are left in the locker room crying.
