Patriots Beat Chiefs 17-10

I am going to try to get through this post as best I can. I'll tell you right now I don't want to, because I fear the worst. The Patriots won today, but the real story was the injury to Tom Brady. The injury happened when Bernard Pollard came in low on Brady. Let me start by saying to all those fans that think that this play was dirty... Yes, it was low, but he didn't mean to, and shit happens. To make that play even worse Moss fumbled the ball, and really put this game into question. The latest news I have heard on Brady is that he will have an MRI tomorrow, but I will keep you updated as soon as I hear. Anyways, back to the game.

The Patriots were able to squeak out a victory behind the solid play of Matt Cassell. To be honest, I don't think Cassell deserves to be on any NFL team, but today he filled the "Trent Dilfer" role to perfection, going 13 for 18 for 152 yards and a TD. The Patriots defense is what won today's game, but still I am worried about Hobbs as he got burned a couple times, and I am not sure he is ready to be a #1 CB. Maroney and Morris combined for 104 yards and a TD, and the Patriots are going to need guys like that to step up if Brady is out. The game got very tight at the end as the Chiefs had a chance to win. Kansas City had 4 chances to put in the in the endzone to tie the game at 17, but were unable to do it. In my opinion, I would have probably tried to force Larry Johnson into the endzone, but instead they tried to force it to Bowe a couple times, and the Patriots were able to hold on 17-10. Once again, the real story here is Brady, and I will let you know more as soon as I do. Now excuse me I have to drink myself to sleep...
