"Hines Ward needs extensive work to rehabilitate his sprained right knee for the Super Bowl, but Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin still expects the wide receiver to play." ESPN
This is great news for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Hines Ward is the heart of the offense and the Steelers best wide receiver. When Hines wasn't in the game against the Ravens, Ben looked a little less comfortable with his wide receivers. (Obviously Sweed couldn't shoulder the load figuring the blatant dropped TD pass in the second quarter.) Hines Ward is more than just a wide receiver, he plays like another offensive lineman when he blocks for runs. Ward was the MVP of Superbowl XL for the Steelers and now with him playing I am a lot more confident going against the Cardinals.
