So this is what it feels to be the Milwaukee Bucks. The KG, Rondo, Baby less Celtics lost to the Miami Heat last night thanks in large to Dwayne Wade's 32 points. This is a game the Celtics could have won, especially if they got ANYTHING from Stephon Marbury, but they didn't and they lost their second game. This game shows you how important Rajon Rondo, people across the league will brush him off and say he is only good because the Celtics has three hall of famers on the squad, but reality shows that the Celtics play more of Rondo's game than KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen's game. With Marbury at point you start to realize that you start to take Rondo for granted. I always watch the off the ball movement of players, especially Eddie House and Ray Allen. With Rondo in he finds them at the perfect time when they are about to plant, while Marbury lets them plant first before passing them the ball, letting the defenders get to them more timely. It is no fault to Marbury, he is a different breed of point guard, but if Steph is going to play his game, he NEEDs to score. Another positive factor in last nights game is the emergence of Bill Walker. It seemed that every time Bill was in, something good happened. Bill scored 8 points in 14 minutes. I wish Bill played more, and hopefully with all these injuries happening Bill and the rest of the young guys can step up and get into a rythme.
Anyways, the game sucked, and we lost two in a row. Oh well.
