Canadiens had to do something, because this team is way too good to miss the playoffs. They were probably watching the Penguins turn their season around after firing their coach, and hope they can do the same. Montreal went into a free fall in late January and February, losing 10 of 13. They currently are sitting at 6th place in the East, but there is a cluster fuck of teams from 5-10. I think this move will work, and that the Canadiens will be in the playoffs, and be a dangerous team.
