Red Sox 2 Cardinals 4
- Boston had Josh Reddick hitting leadoff in this game, and he went off going 3-4 with a triple and an RBI.
- Beckett scored 4 scoreless innings, and is yet to let up a run during spring training.
- Masteron threw 2 scoreless innings. He also is yet to let up a run, and scouts are saying he looks even better then last year. Overall Boston's pitching has looked amazing.
- Michael Bowden did not have a good day. He let up 2 runs in his 2 innings, but did have 3 Ks.
Other Notes:
- Lester's long term deal will be finalized today or tomorrow. He is taking his physical, which is the last step before the deal is complete.
- Jason Bay and Ortiz will play in today's game.
The Sox play the Yankees at 7:05pm on NESN.
