Flyers @ Bruins Preview

Finally got my hands on some reasonably priced tickets. I am excited, because this should be a great, hard hitting game.

The Flyers (33-18-10) seek to avoid a third straight loss. The Flyers are currently in fourth in the tightly packed Eastern Conference. These two teams have played each other twice this season, each has won a game, and both have won on the road. Boston (42-12-9) will look to battle back after losing an overtime game to the Capitals on an 80 foot slap shot. It looks like the Bruins will let Thomas have some time to get that out of his head as Manny Fernandez will be in net tonight. Manny is 4th in the NHL with a 2.24 goals-against average and 8th in save percentage (.921). The bad news is Boston will have to play without Milan Lucic, who is out with what they are calling an upper body injury, which is rumored to be a jaw injury or slight concussion.

The game is at 7pm on NESN.
