Jason Taylor To Patriots?

"With an obvious opening at outside linebacker and need for an experienced pass rusher after trading Mike Vrabel, the Patriots make sense as a possible destination for Jason Taylor, a six-time Pro Bowler and the NFL's active career sack leader with 120.5 sacks. David Hyde of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel says New England is the obvious landing spot for Taylor (Boston.com)."

I don't know if I believe any of this, but here are the reasons for and against this...

Why this will happen:
1. Tom Brady and Jason Taylor are good friends off the field so there is a good chance Brady will push for this.
2. The Patriots have a need to get more pressure on the QB.
3. Taylor has never won a Super Bowl, so the Pats might be his best chance.

Why this won't happen:
1. Not sure if he has the work ethic the Patriots want. He tends to take optional workouts off, to spend more time with his family/dancing.
2. Is he worth a big contract? How much does he want? He is 34 years old, and his skills seem to be declining.
3. I don't know if he fits into the Patriots scheme since he is more of a 4-3 type a guy, and the Pats run a 3-4. Unless they are planning on changing that I don't know if he could covert.

In the end I don't see this happening. I just can't picture him in a Patriots jersey.
