NFL Rumors

Here are a couple rumors floating around the NFL...

- Orlando Pace will not be a free agent long. There are several teams lining up for his services. Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans and Philadelphia Eagles are all taking a look at him. Pace scares me a lot because he hasn't made a Pro Bowl since 2006 and will likely be overpriced.

- Derrick Mason has come out and said that if the Ravens do not give him a better contract he will likely be asked to be released. Mason has always been solid, but the Ravens might wait awhile to see what happens with Holt, and Harrison.

- Derrick Brooks is finally starting to get some looks. He would like to stay in the Tampa 2 style of defense, so the likely team would be the Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs. Out of those teams the Colts seem like the best bet, since the Bears and Bills don't really have the cap space, and the Chiefs are trying to rebuild.

- The Steelers are looking to improve their return game, so they are taking a look cornerback/return man Chris Carr.

- The Steelers are also taking a look at Joey Galloway. Apparently the Steelers brought him in for a visit and it went very well. I think this is kind of dumb, because Limas Sweed was going to take that third spot, and I think they should give him a chance.
