On A Serious Note

To take a small amount of time and space away from sports, DC wants to give it's support to survivors of rape. This includes, women, men and children of all ages. Sexual violence impacts many people of different ages, elasticities, and socio-economic backgrounds. Rape is the least reported violent crime in America, and yet statistics still show that 1 in 4 women and 1 in 6 men will experience a sexual assault in their lifetime. If you live in the Boston Area, there is a walk around the Charles River on April 5th to raise money so that the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center can continue to provide FREE services to survivors and/or their family members. The walk is also meant to empower survivors and raise awareness. If you are interested in walking, you can register on the below link. If you cannot make the walk but are still interested in donating to a cause that helps more people than you would like to imagine, you can click on the same link.
