Ravens Cut Samari Rolle

"The Baltimore Ravens have informed cornerback Samari Rolle that he will be released, a source confirmed Friday. Rolle, who was scheduled to make $4.1 million this season, had previously requested to be released. On Friday, Rolle was informed by the Ravens that he will be placed on waivers within the next few days (ESPN)."

It is amazing how many CBs are being released this year. I think a lot of it has to do with how much these guys were being overpaid for a couple of years. Rolle is 32 years old and has 2-3 good years left in him. He will not be a free agent for long, but I am very interested to see how much teams value him. In my eyes he is a real difference maker, and will make a big splash with whatever team is lucky enough to have him. We are going to see the Ravens take a huge step back this year. They have just lost too many players on defense, and I don't see that offense being able to carry them.
