"(Memphis 03/22/2009) - A new law could have Tennessean's tightening their belt, literally. Memphis State Representative Joe Towns, Jr. and his counter part in the senate, Senator Ophelia Ford are proposing a bill that would make it a crime to wear your pants too low.
They call it sagging when pants are worn so low you can see your underwear. If some state lawmakers get their way, those who sag in Tennessee will have to pull up or pay up.
"I think it looks foolish. I've never done it and when I see our children walk around like that I don't like it. I don't let my own children wear pants like that," said Maurice Merrell, an East Memphis father." More
Good, I'm glad this is happening. It doesn't make sense to wear your pants that low anyways. I doubt they will really enforce it, but it is good they make a law against it. Many people will call this a racist law because more black people wear their pants like this and you know what? It is a racist law, and it is a law that helps you out! You look fucking stupid with your pants that low. It's trashy, no one wants to see your underwear, and it looks uncomfortable, stop being difficult and just pull your pants up. Fuck!
