"Curt Schilling retired from baseball Monday after a career in which he won World Series titles with the Boston Red Sox and Arizona Diamondbacks and was one of the game's most dominant pitchers and grittiest competitors. I don't know if there's been a player that I have had more of a love hate relationship with than Curt Schilling. On one side he is a cock sucker that doesn't know how to keep his mouth shut. He has to put his 2 cents in about everything, and he screwed the Sox by signing that 1 year 8 million deal when he knew he was hurt.
On the other side, he really put the Sox over the top on their way to 2 World Series titles. The "bloody sock", and the way he competes is something straight out of a movie. I will try to remember him for these things rather then his mouth, but it will be tough because we all know this is on the last time we will hear Curt (think Gary Payton).
Now the discussion can begin....Hall of Fame?
