Ward Chooses Bucs

New York Giants running back Derrick Ward cashed in on his 1,025-yard season by reaching a four-year, $17 million contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to a league source.

Ward is nothing but a glorified 3rd down back, and we will never here his name again. The Bucs now have three of the exact same runningbacks in Earnest Graham, Cadillac Williams, and Derrick Ward. He will gain 700 yards next year if he is lucky, because he is not an every down back, and was only able to get over the 1,000 yard mark because of the Giants system. Lets also not kid ourselves either, rushing over 1,000 yards isn't that impressive anymore, you only need to average 60 yards a game to do it. Either way, shitty pick up for the Bucs.
