We have been reporting all week the Garnett will make his comeback to the Celtics on Friday. There were some reports that he could play tonight, but Doc was quick to shoot down those rumors. The good news is that Garnett is back at practice, and people who were in attendance for the media portion said he looks fantastic. Great news for the Celtics, as they really need him back to help their interior defense which has been raising some red flags of late.
I expect that when KG returns you will see the Celtics play a lot more emotional on defense (no not just techs, haha). While he has been out the Celtics seem to be playing a little flat, which very rarely happens while KG is on the floor.
Anyways, everything looks to be a go for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.
