Canadiens @ Bruins Preview

The Bruins are currently in their 2nd longest losing streak in team history (8 games). The last time they had this long of a losing streak was 1956, so that can tell you right there how thing have been going for the Bruins. To make matters worse the Bruins have been (and still are) dealing with injury problems.

Yet, I have faith. Call it misguided, or whatever you want, but I think they are going to win this game, and I think they are going to make the playoffs. Why do I believe all this? Because I think the Bruins will pull off a trade. I think they will get healthy, and I think this is the game that is going to wake them up. Could be wishful thinking, but I'm going with it.

The Canadiens are not a great team. They above the Bruins right now, and sit as the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. Yet, this is a rivalry. These two teams seem to play harder when they play each other, and that's why I think tonight the Bruins come out on top. They are at home, and if they have any pride left at all they have to win this game in front of their fans.

Rask will be in net tonight. Hopefully he will have one of his "good" games, which I think he will with the energy from the home crowd, and the historic rivalry that will be going on.

Game starts at 7pm on NESN.
