Well the Celtics cock slapped the NBA analysts and BMack face last night. Many people questioned (including myself) whether the Celtics did enough during the deadline to make the push.
I think we all forgot that we have guys with the last names Garnett, Pierce and Allen on our team. This team is 2 years removed from a championship and made it to the second round of last years playoffs without the Big Ticket. The Celtics are now 3-0 on this west coast trip and look poised for a run. They recently seem to have that spark back and soon you will hear the doubters disappear. The Celtics are a better team than Cleveland, Orlando and Atlanta when healthy. And guess what? All of the stars are healthy. A lot can be made out of Tony Allen being injured, but it all disappeared when we got Nate Robinson, and Baby has started to step his game up. Everyone has been pissed at Baby for his immaturity issues and saying he was a fraud and isn't the same player as last year. Well guess what, he missed a lot of time and is starting to hit his stride and being back in shape now with around 30 games left in the season entering the playoffs.
KG has been playing better and better, Ray looks like he has something to prove, Paul Pierce is still being awesome and Perk and Rondo are very very good players. And there bench is shaping up to be extremely deep and full of talent. Before all of you jump down Rasheed throat, he was brought in for the playoffs, it's not a coincidence that Sheed's teams have been in the playoffs the past 5 years and he has a ring under his belt. Everyone, sit back, relax and enjoy this.
The Celtics can win it all with this team and there is no doubt about that.
