Chargers Looking To Deal Cromartie?
Reports are surfacing that the Chargers are trying to deal Antonio Cromartie for a running back. It makes sense since the Chargers have 2 very good corners in Quentin Jammer and Antoine Cason, and running back was their weakness position in 2009. Still, I don't like this idea at all. In my eyes, you can never have enough good corner backs (ask the Patriots), and I feel like you can always find a running back in free agency or in the draft. Why throw away a position that is so hard to fill for one the the easiest to fill? Maybe it's just me, but that's how I view it.
I wish the Patriots had a good running back to trade, because I still think Cromartie is a hell of a player. My guess is that the Packers, Cowboys, and Vikings will take a hard look at a trade like this, but we will have to wait and see.
