Vrabel is a free agent and he says he has no plans on retiring. There are a lot of reports saying that he would be looking to the Patriots to get his career going again. I am fine with that, but it really don't change their needs. They still need to draft OLB, they are old, and they need more speed. If Thomas is cut like I think he will be then Vrabel could fit in nicely as a pass rushing OLB, so in that regard I would like him. Still, I want to see the Patriots rework this defense rather then putting more band aids (Seau) on it like we have been doing for the past couple of seasons.
