2010 NFL Preview: Buffalo Bills

2009 Record: 6-10

KEY ADDITIONS:
Andra Davis, LB, Denver
Dwan Edwards, DE, Baltimore
Marlon Favorite, DT, Seattle
Cornell Green, OT, Oakland

KEY LOSSES:
Ryan Denney, DE, Free agent
Chris Draft, LB, Washington
Richie Incognito, G, Miami
Terrell Owens, WR, Free agent
Josh Reed, WR, San Diego
Jonathan Scott, OT, Pittsburgh

Offense:
The Bills were a surprising team during the draft. They passed on McCoy, Clausen, and Tebow, and then lost out on McNabb. I'm not saying they were wrong, but it is surprising Edwards will be behind center again this year. Instead they got CJ Spiller, who could be one of the most exciting picks of this year's draft. Problem is the Bills already have 2 other running backs in Jackson, and Lynch. The combo of those 3 should be strong, but you have to wonder if there is enough carries to go around. Their WRs are awful now that they lost TO and Josh Reed. Lee Evans needs to turn the clock back to 2006 and find a way to put up some numbers, but with a below average offensive line, and terrible QBs I just don't see that happening.

Defense:
The Bills do have some talent on defense Dwan Edwards was an underrated pickup for the Bills, Paul Posluszny is turning out to be one hell of an LB, and Jairus Byrd in the backfield make this a respectable bunch. Losing Aaron Schobel is going to hurt, and the Bills could struggle with their pass rush, but overall this is a unit that would be in the top half of the NFL if it didn't have to be on the field all the time.

Overall:
The Bills haven't been in the playoffs in over 10 years. The Jets, and Dolphins look to only be getting strong, and the Patriots are an above .500 team year in and year out. That, on top of the fact their offense sucks, adds up to another tough year in Buffalo.

2010 Record: 4-12
