Offense:
I'm going to put my hatred of Eli Manning on pause for a minute, so I can try to do an unbiased preview. Eli Manning had his best statistical season by far last year. What was really a good sign is that he finally completed over 60% of his passes thanks to in large part an up and coming WR core. Steve Smith exploded last year for over 1,200 yards and 7 TDs, although I don't think he'll put those numbers up again he is a solid #1, and with Hakeem Nicks, and Mario Manningham behind him this unit should be very good once again. I question their running backs a lot though. Both Bradshaw and Jacobs are coming off surgery, and you just can't count on them to stay healthy. It could be an odd year for the Giants, because they are usually a run heavy team, but this team seems to set up better for a spread offense.

Defense:
This unit was hurt last year, so I think if they can stay healthy they will be much better. Jason Pierre-Paul and Linval Joseph were added through the draft, and should help sure up a line that could be very dangerous with a healthy Justin Tuck and Osi Umenyiora. The key for this team is getting to the QB, and they should be able to do that. If that wasn't enough they fixed their defensive backfield, which was flat out terrible last year by adding Antrel Rolle and Deon Grant. The one problem I have with this defense is their linebackers. Michael Boley and Clint Sintim are good pass rushers, but they need some guys who can tackle. Keith Bulluck was a nice addition, but I still have questions about their run defense.

Overall:
I really, really hate to say it, but this team (if it can stay healthy) will be really good. Maybe even good enough to win the NFC East and get a bye in the playoffs.

2010 Record: 11-5

Eli is still a fag though.
