
Bud Selig got what he wanted. The regular season for the MLB is going to start earlier to that the finals don't roll over into November. So, this season the MLB will be starting March 30th. Honestly I don't think think matters much. I mean it is good for northern teams like the Yankees and Sox, so that they won't be playing in snow, but overall I don't think it makes much of a difference.
What is cool is that the Cubs are coming to Fenway for the first time in almost 100 years. I know a lot of the rest of the country won't care, because they are two teams that are missing the playoffs this year, but it will be cool to see these two teams play at Fenway.
