Sacramento County authorities say Los Angeles Lakers guard Matt Barnes has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and maliciously obstructing the use of a telephone line. I obviously have no idea what happened, but Matt Barnes always came across as an asshole, so this doesn't shock me. The report goes on to say that both Barnes and the woman had visible injuries, but took Barnes into custody after determining he had been the primary aggressor, which really doesn't mean much because 99% of the time they will arrest the man. My thoughts are you never hit a woman, ever...so I hope he gets ass raped in jail.
Barnes posted a $50,000 bond and was released. He is scheduled to be arraigned in court Monday.
