Reggie Bush gave up his 2005 Heisman and I think that's bullshit. He was obviously pushed by the Heisman committee to give it back and he did it just to appease them.
It's an individual award and he had the "best" year that year, so he still deserves it. If you think other Heisman recipients never received anything extra when they were at school, you're retarded. There is no way Desmond Howard made it through Michigan without any extra incentives.
Now that he gave it back the big debate is Vince Young. Not only do I think he deserved it more than Bush in 2005, but if they don't give it to him now, I'll throw a hissy fit. If you want to see my case and point, go back and watch the 2005 Rose Bowl, when Young outplayed Bush on the biggest stage in college football.
One of the best memories I have from that game is after when Vince took the crystal ball and did the Heisman pose with it.
