After a terrible first game the Bruins bounced back nicely Sunday morning. Tim Thomas got the shutout, but the story of the game was the Bruins puck movement, and toughness. In their first game of the season the Bruins seemed slow, disinterested, and unwilling to battle in the corners. Less the 24 hours later it was like watching a different team.
The Bruins dominated in ever facet of the game, out shooting the Coyotes 37-29. If ti wasn't got Bryzgalov this game could have easily been 6-0. Horton had a goal and assist for the Bruins, and now had 3 goals in 2 game (so my 35+ goal prediction is looking good). Lucic was awesome Sunday. I'm not his biggest fan, but I will admit when he is hitting he can really set the tempo for the rest of the team. Rookie Tyler Seguin got his first goal of the season, and really looked like he is getting comfortable playing with the rest of the team, he won't put up crazy stats this season, but you can definitely see why the Bruins are excited about this guy. He is fast, and has a knack for being around the net.
If the Bruins play like the did in the 2nd game, then they are going to be a real dangerous team. I just hope it's not like last year when this team would disappear for periods/games at a time. Since this game was in Prague the Bruins have until Saturday off.
