The Phillies made it happen last night once again, this time making Wootman a bit more comfortable. They scored in more than one inning and were playing solid all around ball. Brett Myers pitched pretty well, not dominant, but well enough. Hes a competitor and actually had better offensive numbers than pitching numbers going 3-3 at the plate with 3 RBIs--absolutely uncalled.
The dodgers once again rode the Manny train as he lifted a 3 run jack off Myers who during his first at bat threw a pitch behind him. Manny went deep but the rest of the squad was unable to pick up the rest of the slack.
They head to LA now and the dodgers look to use their home field advantage against the fightin as they are 4-0 against Philly in Dodger stadium. The series is going to get interesting before it is over, that im sure of.
