The Bruins will try to make us forget how bad the Celtics have looked over their last two games, as they face Carolina tonight. Boston is on fire, winning six in a row, and are off to their best start since 1929 (25-5-4). If the Bruins win today it would be the first time they have strung a 7 game win streak together since 1992. Basically the Bruins are fucking awesome, and no one wants to face them.
Thomas looked good last time out, and Fernandez has been great all season. I don't know who is going to play tonight, but it really doesn't matter. Kessel is going to have to try to start a new point streak, as it was snapped at 18 games last game. It is amazing how well Boston has been playing with all their injuries. I know everyone wants to know more about Bergeron, but the latest is that he is a home, and there is no timetable for his return from his latest concussion.
Carolina has been solid this year (17-14-5), but don't have the speed to stay with the Bruins. Boston is 1-0 against them this year, and I really don't see them having much problems making that 2-0.
