Nick Saban has been named coach of the year for college football. I love Saban, even though he left LSU, and while most people started to hate him when he screwed over Miami, I loved it even more because of my never ending hatred for the Dolphins (which dates all the way back to my hatred for Marino). Anyways, this is a great selection, and is the obvious choice. Alabama was never supposed to be this good, and a lot of people thought that Saban would never turn Alabama into what LSU is. Time will tell, but he seems to be on the right track.
