The Yankees signed Chien-Ming Wang to a 1 year deal yesterday. The deal is worth 5 million, and once again proves that the Yankees love holding on to Wang. Gay jokes aside, this is a great signing from the Yankees. Wang (when healthy) can be a borderline ace, and if CC, and Burnett stay healthy, the Yankees could have a very nice rotation. Obviously health will be a big concern for the Yankees next year, but if everything went according to their plan, they will be a much better team next year. Since they are 1 of only 2 teams to have to play taxes for going over the max salary level, they really have no excuse to bot make the playoffs (the other team was the Tigers).
