There are rumors going around that the Mets are close to signing Lowe to a 4 year deal worth between $14-16 million per season. I think this would be a great pickup by the Mets. They need some help in their rotation and Lowe can be very solid. I also think it is a great idea for Lowe to stay in the NL, as I do not see him being as affective if he came back to the AL. I know a lot of Sox fans wanted to see Lowe back, but I don't see that happening, but keep an eye out for Smoltz or Sheets.
