More good news coming from the Red Sox today....
"Dustin Pedroia took batting practice yesterday for the first time since returning from the World Baseball Classic without any pain in his strained left abdominal, clearing the way for his return to spring training games today (Boston Globe)."
Dustin is batting second today, and seems to be 100%. If he wasn't there is no way that Francona would be rushing him back on the field. The abdominal injury was scary, because there are similar injuries that can keep a player out for 4-6 weeks, so it is good to see that he will not be missing any time.
"I haven't felt it one time since I got back," Pedroia said. "I think the two days that I had off, actually three days that I had off, kind of calmed everything down. Everything's been fine (Boston Globe)."
Hopefully it will stay that way, but we will see when he gets a couple of games under his belt. He did make it through batting practice so I am sure everything will be fine.
