For those have been disappointed in Stephon Marbury's play this far (myself included) were politely told to shove it by him last night.
First off let me say that the Celtics had no business winning this game. In fact, I don't even know how they won this game. They were down by 14 with 9 minutes left and then the Celtics led by Marbury and paul Pierce were able to chip away to the win. The Celtics overcame a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter, holding the Magic to one field goal in the final 6:06. Last night, I predicted a blow out, and of course that was wrong, but wasn't wrong was Paul Pierce having a good game.(Yes, I know he didn't score 35+) but he nearly finished with a triple double with 19 points, nine rebounds and 8 assists. The most important thing he did, was play the roll of the Captain and settle things down, when the game started to get out of reach. Big Baby continues his (I'm starting to get too expensive for the Celtics tour) by dropping a team high 22 points, including some crucial shots down the stretch. The Celtics got lucky with this one by playing with fire and getting away with it, but they MUST play better in Orlando to close this series out.
