A source has told Tony Grossi of the Cleveland Plain Dealer that Brady Quinn will be the starting quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in Week One of the 2009 NFL season.
Quinn played in three games in 2008, completing 50.6 percent of his passes for 518 yards, throwing two touchdowns against two interceptions, earning a 66.6 QB rating. This rating falls in the "poor" range, but is actually better than the 66.5 rating Anderson put up over the course of a ten-game campaign.
Let me first start off by saying I hate Brady Quinn. However, the Browns need to make this move. There is a reason they drafted this queer, they need to see what he can do now. Quinn will have a tough task ahead of him as they lost Kellen Winslow and Dante Stallworth is probably going to jail for an extremely long time. Last year the Browns were supposed to be the upstart team, now they are just flat out terrible and will have a tough year in the AFC North.
