Rangers closer Frank Francisco could be headed to the disabled list due to biceps tendinitis.
Francisco, who has nine saves in 14 appearances with a 0.00 ERA, will probably miss the entire Seattle series, and general manager Jon Daniels told the Dallas Morning News he he could end up on the DL.
This is a huge blow to the surprising Rangers. Franky has been one of the few brightspots in a terrible Rangers pitching staff. Like Soria, I think this is more of a precaution than anything else. He has been an absolute monster thus far. He isn't officially on the DL, but it looks like he will end up there. For fantasy players, pick up CJ Wilson for a stoppage gap.
