Josh Beckett is 4-2 against the Yankees in their old stadium. He hopes his winning ways will continue to the new stadium. Beckett, other then the first game of the season, has looked like shit. There are some grumblings that if he gets rocked again he might hit the DL for a little while with a token "tired arm". Still, I think he will pitch well tonight. He has been getting K's and his velocity seems fine. He just needs to relax and keep the call over the plate.
Beckett will be going against Joba tonight, who has some rumblings of his own (and I am not talking about his met dealing whore of a mother). There are rumors going around that the Yankees might move Joba back to the bullpen, which is where I think he belongs. The Yankees bullpen seems to always suck, and Joba would definitely change that. Anyways, the Sox need to be real patient tonight, because Joba has a tendency to throw a lot of pitches (much like Dice-K), so they can wait him out and get to that awful bullpen.
