Red Sox @ Yankees
Phil Hughes wants to do what Lester did last year, and tonight they face each other in the wiffleball park known as the new Yankee Stadium. Hughes had a great first start of the season throwing 6 scoreless innings. Lester on the other hand could really use a good outing, but that could be tough at this park.
The Sox have had to use their bullpen way too much, so it would be huge if Lester could go 7 innings tonight, but once again that will be extremely hard in NY. Lester seemed to be able to find a little swagger in the last two inning of his last outing, and we all know he has it in him to pitch a gem. Sooner or later the Sox rotation is going to come around (unlike Big Papi?), and when it does this will be the best team in baseball...
Game starts at 7:05 on ESPN.
