101 Lakers, 96 Magic

Boy the Magic completely blew that one. If Courtney Lee could have hit the alley-oop or if the refs didn't make two terrible calls at the end of the game the Magic could have tied this series up at two. However, none of that worked Pau Gasol had an unbelievable OT and now the Magic are in a deep 0-2 hole in the NBA championship as the Lakers are waltzing their way to another championship. Hopefully the Magic, and can pull what the Heat did when they were down 0-2 to the Mavericks a couple years back and take the next 4. But honestly, I just don't see that happening.

What has really hurt the Magic is their lack of match up opportunities. Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom are extremely hard to defend for Turkalou and Rashard Lewis and the high/ low game has killed them. If there is any chance the Magic can take this, is that they're shots need to drop and they need to take advantage of a fast pace game. the Lakers are so bad when it comes to fast break defense, and the Magic run it so well that normally it winds up to be a wide open 3.

But with all that being said, watching this is like watching a slow painful death of Red's record disappearing and even more Kobe talk, which both piss me off.
