Jeremy Hazelbaker
The 21 year old from Ball State is a solid outfielder who has good speed and really know how to get on base. Hazelbaker batted .429 with nine home runs, 38 RBIs, and 29 stolen bases. He tallied a .550 on-base percentage, .724 slugging percentage and drew 48 walks, leading Ball State in all 3 categories.

Seth Schwindenhammer
Other then his silly last name this kid intrigues me more then any of the other day 2 draft picks by the Red Sox. He is going to play for Illinois next season. Schwindenhammer played in the McDonald's All-Star Game his junior year, batted .434 this season with 15 home runs and 54 RBIs and led his team to the regional championships in 2007 and 2008. This kid has serious power potential and will be really interesting to see how he develops.

Branden Kline
The 17 year old Kline went 6-1 this season with a 0.66 ERA. He allowed only 16 hits and three earned runs in 41 innings and had 79 strikeouts. Fastball sits in the low 90s and tops out at 95 mph, and has a decent breaking ball. Very polished for his age, and has good mechanics.

Madison Younginer
This guy could be awesome or a complete bust. He is extremely raw but was 4-0 with a 1.50 ERA this season. In 18 2/3 innings of relief work he allowed three earned runs and had 33 strikeouts. Throws around 93 but can top out at 97. One of those guys that needs to harness his stuff. I like him since the Sox are known for developing pitching.

Luke Bard
Yup Daniel Bard's brother. Very raw, but shows some flashes of greatness. Bard went 9-2 with a 1.95 ERA last season and was first-team All-State in 2008 and is also an outfielder; he hit .336 as a junior while helping his team to a runner-up finish at the state championships. He played QB in high school, and really could be something interesting now that he is fully committed to baseball.
