Well there you have it...Brett Favre 100% wants to play next season. The only way I see him not playing is if the surgery does not go well. There is no word yet to how long it will take him to recover, but it sounds like the Viking and Favre agreed that he needed to get this done. Still, even if the Vikings get a healthy Favre I don't believe he has the stuff to push the Vikings to the next level. He is once again going to miss camp, and that is what ended up killing him last season. So, I think this is all fucking stupid, and will annoy everyone who watches ESPN for the next 9 months.

Favre, however, is apparently reluctant to commit to playing a 19th NFL season without first being more confident the arthroscopic surgery performed recently on his throwing shoulder has succeeded in eliminating all of the problems related to a torn biceps tendon (espn).
Great now this will drag on for a couple more weeks. Maybe the Vikings will give up on him, but I doubt it. They seem to be really down on the QBs they have on their roster...
