This was Smoltz best rehab outting to date. If things continue the way they are right now Smoltz will only need 2 more rehab starts to be ready to join the Sox rotation. The good signs were that his command was on point, and his velocity (about 91 MPH) is about where he expects it to be. His next start will be with Triple A Pawtucket, and that is also where is next and final start should be...
