More Red Sox Trade Rumors

Red Sox trade rumors are still a hot issue around the MLB. With Ortiz seemily at the end of his career, and Lugo not wowing anyone there are several rumors floating around.

Very Unlikely:

-Hanley Ramirez - The Sox would love to get Ramirez back, but it will most likely be too high of a price, and that is if he is even availible. No harm in dreaming right?

-Adrian Gonzalez - Good amount of rumors around this guy, but he is a home town favorite in San Diego. The only way the Sox have a trade would be because the Padres team is caught in the middle of a nasty divorse. Still unlikely.

Unlikely:

-Victor Martinez - The Sox were asking about Shoppach during the offseason, and the Indians asking price was too high. Obviously would be a great pickup for the Sox, but Theo seems to want to hold on to Buchholz, making this unlikely.

-Adam Dunn - Washington would likely not mind deal him, but he is just not a "Sox" type of player. He strikes out too much, and really just doesn't fit the mold.

More Likely:

-Aubrey Huff - One of the more underrated players in baseball. The Orioles are rebuilding, and the Sox the pitching. The question is whether Baltimore would be willing to trade within their own divison.

- Nick Johnson - The poor man's Youk could be a nice fit. He isn't much of a power guy, but he gets on base and keeps the lineup moving. The good thing here is the Sox probably could get him for cheap.
