Blake Griffin the number 1 overall pick will have surgery on his broken left kneecap, keeping him out for at least four more months.
This sucks for the Clippers who have already been struggling. I personally am not a Blake Griffin fan, and never will be, but the Clippers did the smart thing here. There is no sense in rushing to play him where he can get injured more especially since there is no hope for them to make a run into the playoffs. The cool thing about this is that Blake Griffin will retain his rookie status for next year.
