Celtics 111 Nets 87

For the most part I feel bad for the Nets. They don't have much talent, and they are really just another team that is waiting for the year to end. Still, you have to have some pride in yourself, and the Nets' effort last night in the first half is something they should be ashamed of.

Boston was up 71-35 at halftime. Yes, the Celtics are a much better team, but this wasn't because of that. It had a lot more to do with the Nets not hustling, playing no defense, and the look of self loathing on their faces. Honestly, it was painful to watch.

To end the first half, Ray Allen set a pick for Pierce. After the pick Allen when straight to the hoop, there wasn't a guy within 20 feet of him as he layed it up. DP was telling me that when you are 10 years old you know not to just fight through a pick, but rather switch with the pick. The Nets couldn't even do that right, and that basically sums up the game.

Tony Allen and Bill Walker both had sick dunks in this game. We have already up the Allen one up, and I'll see if I can get my hands on the Bill Walker one for later today.

Anyways, in the 2nd half Boston rested most of their players, and the Nets started hitting shots. It didn't really matter as Boston cruised to a 111-87 win (very close to what DP predicted).
